Ladybug Swim
Ryan and I took Hope to the pool this afternoon and she found a ladybug. Most of ya'll know Hope is into nature and she loves ladybug. Unfortunately, we found this ladybug a little to late it had drown in the pool. That did not stop Hope from taking it down the slide 100 times and making sure she it was always with her. We even had a few of the lifeguards helping her keep up with her dead ladybug. She was sure if she gave it enough attention and love it would be okay, and I was scared we were going to have to take a dead insect home. Good thing I finally got her interested in something else and we made it home without a dead bug.
Hope's First Date
Hope got invited to her first baseball game date by Dylan. We all went because until Hope is 16 we are going to tag along and may hire a PI to tag along after that. They were so cute getting into everything and of course making lots of messes. The Rangers scored a ton of home runs which was great because the fireworks were a hit. I think Hope will love all the firework shows this 4th of July. Hope would not leave Dylan's Dad alone I think she had more fun talking to him then anything. I have to tell one embarrassing moment, Hope kept touching the people seating in front of us. I finally had to explain to her that we don't know them and we can't touch peoples hair. One man had grey hair and she went up to his head touch it looked and me and said, "No, No Yucky Hair". I wanted to hide but Jen and I could not stop laughing I was praying he was into the game and not listening or at least could not understand toddler.

My little helper
Preschool Talent Show
Hope and I went over to see sweet little Lincoln (can't believe I didn't get a picture of him), Sailer and Tara. While Tara and I were talking Hope and Sailer ran off to practice for the preschool talent show. Sailer was on drums (both sets) and Hope was on vocals and drums. If they ever have a preschool talent show they may not be the best but I am sure they will be the best dressed. We just think the girls are going to be dancer but they really want to be rock stars.
Birthday
The 26th of May was my Birthday and I am sure it was the longest day of my life. The day was great it was the night that was soooo long. Ryan had me breakfast in bed and then her had to leave town for 2 night, so my sweet friend Celina (Ella Claire's Mommy) took us out for lunch at the rain forest cafe. I got a few cute pictures of the girls in aw over the animals. After lunch and a little shopping Hope now very healthy and happy took a great nap. I then took her to her Grandma and PaPa's house so I could go coach my gymnastics girls had a little party for me. I picked Hope up from G-Ma and PaPa's house and took her home she fell asleep and everything was wonderful until our electricity went out around 1 AM due to a bad storm. I am by myself can't find a flashlight or a lighter for candles and Hope wakes up screaming and does so for 2 hours. By this time I had to take her to the ER and find out what was going on. No lights I have to get dressed get her clean clothes and change her diaper so I get what I can throw it in the car and realize I can't get out of my garage. It's 4 AM now still raining and no electricity, I find a manual (dislike that word) pull for the garage door and back out so I can take Hope to the ER and find out what is going on. She feel asleep in the car and when we got there she was a different child fun, full of smiles and just happy. I still had to find out what was going on so they ran some test, did a x-ray of her tummy, since that is what she told me hurt. They sent me home at 6:30 AM and said she is fine it must have been something she ate that gave her tummy cramps just give her lots of fluids. I followed up with her pediatrician and she basically told me the same thing after doing a few more test and checking her over. I felt so bad Ryan came home early because he was worried about us and she was fine. So that is my excuse for falling behind on my blog post this week.
Memorial Day
Better late then never; on Memorial day we went to the lake for a family picnic. Hope had a blast since her MiMi & PaPa and Grandma & PaPa Mac were all there. A picnic has to include lots of yummy snacks and sweets so Hope was all about the food and chasing butterflies by the lake. I had to get my camera when I saw Hope was trying to sit like her MiMi and PaPa in her little chair.

Swimming
Ryan, Hope and I went to the T.C. pool today, Hope had a blast. I got info on swim lessons and I think we will sign her up for a few this summer. I am going to have one busy girl between gymnastics, dance, art and swimming but its good for her. I am thinking the more she does during the day the better she sleeps at night. I had to post the first picture of her outfit because I was the Mom that said I will never dress my little girl in character clothes and yet here she is with a Minnie swim suit, hat, glasses, flip flops, beach towel and cup. Now that Hope understands shopping it's what she wants and Mommy only get to pay. Ryan could not leave without embarrassing us by doing something (nobody knows what) off the diving board, he did get a complement by a little boy on the size of his splash.
Double back flip
Some blurry pictures of EJ doing a double back on the floor. He does triples on the rod floor, it is amazing to me how he is higher then the heaters. I can't believe he finishes his second back tuck higher then most people single. He has won state and regionals the last few years and got 3 10.0 this year. He helps coach the team girls with me and will be a senior in high school next year.

Hope's Gymnastics Show
(Warning: LOTS of pictures)
Hope had her first gymnastics show today, it was so cute. They marched in and did a cute little warm up song then went to events. She stared on bars which I think is her favorite then tumble track, floor and ended on beam. She is doing swings, pike holds and pull overs on bars, jumps and seat drops on tramp. On floor she does forward and back rolls, back handspring on the barrel and handstands just walks on low beam for now. She was so proud of her medal (big necklace) it was so funny all Ryan's family came to watch and she would look at them smile and run back to her group. I was waiting for her to run over to her Mimi but she waited till the end of the program, Coach Rod has just been wonderful with her.

Happy Birthday Celina
It was Celina's birthday so we meet for lunch and then took the girls to the park to play. Hope and her friend Ella Claire are so cute together they have a special bond. I had to snap a few picture of Hope with her upside down sunglasses, she is sure that everyone else in the world wears their sunglasses wrong and she is right, my strong willed child.
Main Street Days
We only got a few pictures from Main Street Days, I say we because I think Ryan took more then I did. Hope loves rides and I have to be the one to take her on all the kiddie rides so Ryan is in charge of taking pictures. She was in a grumpy mood till she saw the rides and then even better the animals. She wants all the animals "up" I was trying to get a picture and then I notices she had a chicken "up" poor thing it ran to the corner soon as I made her put it down. Hope ran after it till she saw a duck and then it was "duck up". I had to get her out because she then insisted on having the horse up so Ryan got some lemonade and popcorn and we said bye bye to the animals.
