Face Painting

We went to family night at chickfila for the first time tonight with The Rosendale's. Hope had a great time and loved getting her face painted, it was the perfect evening for the girls. The lady doing the face painted was wonderful and quick which is very important when you are dealing with Hope. I could not believe how excited the girls were to see each other, Hope even ate her dinner.

Art Class & Lunch

Today Hope went to art class at gymboree then we ate lunch with Celina & Ella Claire. I was busy chasing Hope so I didn't get many pictures, she has been waking up very early which leads to long cranky days.

Ryan's Birthday

I just love planning surprises for birthdays. This year I surprises Ryan with a boat, he though we were going fishing and having a picnic at the lake. Ryan's family came some of our friends from college and E.C. family it was a little hard to keep everything from Ryan but I think he was surprised. Nothing like turning 31 and having a finding nemo theme birthday, that's what happens when a 2 year old has to shop with you. Hope and I got out early Saturday morning to decorated and get everything set up. We had a great time it was a little hot but not too bad on the lake. I had to include the picture of the once perfect cupcakes between my dropping the box and Hope getting into them they were a yummy mess. Good thing I had a cake for him waiting at home in a safe place.

Girls Night

We had a girls night on Thursday, can you tell I just got done coaching, no makeup and it was 100 degrees.

Swim Slide

Hope and her friend Ella Claire at the TC pool going down the slide, I know they went down more then 50 times. Since Hope's friend E. C. is blogless I thought I would post a few of both girls. lol

Gymnastics Teamgym

We went to a very interesting teamgym gymnastics fest in Fort Worth. It is a performance that is international and takes place every four year, it was in Fort Worth this week. Being involved with very competitive gymnastics team it was nothing like I expected. I didn't take many pictures but if someone knows what those thing on the floor exercise are with the group from Venezuela please let me know. Hope's friends and their family made an early exit so Hope was calling them on her cell. She cheered up a little when her Daddy caught a frisbee from one of the groups on the floor.

More Ballet Class

Hope is taking dance class twice a week for the summer program and then will continue in the fall. All she takes about during the week is her tap shoes, dance bag and tutu. I just love the picture of the little girls at the ballet bar I can just imagine what they are telling each other.

Dance Class

Yeah, Hope's first dance class! I have finally come to terms with the fact that Hope will never be an Olympic gymnast but she can still dance on Broadway. Since she will be at least 6 foot tall I have decided for her to become a ballet dancer. She had her first class today they meet twice a week for 1 hour for the summer, she does tap, ballet and tumbling. I think her favorite was tap and she was very excited to see her friend Sailer in class. I can't believe she fell asleep soon as we drove off lollipop, drink, snack then out only took 5 minutes. Hope can't wait till Wednesdays class she wants to sleep with her dance bag and shoes.

Sip and See

I went to little Lincoln's sip and see Saturday, Hope stayed home with Daddy. I did not get a picture of Lincoln because he was sleeping but I got one today while he was at his big sister's dance class. He is so cute and I just love all his fun little outfits. Tara, Carmen and I had to get a picture together since we all showed up in yellow, too funny.

Rocking Horse

Hope and her friend Ella Claire on the rocking horse at gymboree. After dance and Hope's short nap today we stopped by gymboree so she could play with her friends and eat lunch.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day! Hope and I made sure Ryan had a great Father's day. We gave him his gifts when Hope got up she has been waiting to give them to him because she helped me shop. After that we let him get a little more rest. We went to church Saturday night so we wouldn't have much this morning, Ryan and Hope had lots of Father Daughter time before lunch. We went to the Texas De Brazil in downtown Fort Worth with all Ryan's family for lunch. Hope collected about four of the red/green tabs and kept putting Ryan's and mine and all the others on green so they kept the food coming. Once she understood how it worked she was a green fan when they would ask if we wanted more she would say more meat mama, yummy. I think her favorite was the black olives she ate 2 bowls full from the salad bar. Hope was a mess with her headband as you can see in the pictures. She always wants to wear headbands because she loves to take them on and off, I think she feels like she does her own hair when she puts it on, the only bad thing is it looks like a two year old did it.
