Fire Truck Visit

Hope was singing during the group photoElla ClaireDaxHope was the shining star on Tuesday which means we bring snacks & her fav book. She choose pinkalicious so I got the cakery to make cupcakes that looked like the ones in the book, I am sure her teachers loved that snack. A few of us Mom's came back when it was time for their class to visit the fire truck to take some pictures. Hope was so busy that she did not see me till she sat down to take her individual picture. I just love the look she gave me like Mom this is my school time what are you doing her.

Dress Myself

When I picked Hope up from school Tuesday I did not get a very good report, I guess she has no interest in her nap mat or listening to her teachers. So she did not get a lollipop but her friend did so my poor baby girl was so sad she talked about what color her friend picked out and the color of lollipop she would have picked out for two days. My heart just ached for her she even told her gymnastics coach about it. I didn't make a big deal then because I could see how sad she was so Wednesday night I talked to her and we came up with a plan. She wanted to pick out her outfit (Minnie Mouse) and then promised she would listen to her teachers follow instruction & stay on her nap mat. Thursday when I picked her up she got a great report & even got to pick out a lollipop from her teachers. Bless her heart that night she ended up with a ruptured ear drum, an ear infection & 104.9 degree fever. She still needs 6 teeth so I was thinking the top canines where coming in but it turned out to be a little more. I could not believe this because she was great the night before that morning all day at school & even when I picked her up she ate then was happy when I dropped her off at Ryan's parents. That night I had a different child blood draining out of her ear, crying & all she wanted to do was sleep. After one day of some fancy ear drops & antibiotics and she was back to the Hope that we all know & love.

Preschool Queens

The girls made crowns Tuesday at school so I had to get a picture when we picked them up.

Grapefest

Poor chicken she flattened it from petting it so much, I am sure it was scared she was going to pick it up again.Hope & I both have our hands in the airDancing Queen! She found her stageShe is so tall & a big girl she rides them all by herself now.We went to Grapefest this weekend and Hope did not what to let us leave. She had the best time with the animals, rides & her dance stage as she calls it, Ryan & I didn't mind staying since they had great wine & fun food. I have to find the pictures from last year to compare she was fearless on the rides then too.

Pizza & Friends

Ryan, Hope & I met some of Hope's friends at IPC last week. It is so funny how fast they grow at this age it's been a while since we have seen Dylan & Nat they both looked so big. Hope was too funny playing air hockey she would put the puck in her goal so a new one would come out under her side. She also discovered bowling and still made a gutter ball with the bumpers up. I have to add that Hope & Ryan ended up with the same score.

School Days

Hope is so excited to get inside the school to see her teachers & friends she won't stand still for a picture. I tried to get a few this week as you can see that did not work out. I think I will go with a new approach next week and take the pictures at home before we leave. When we opened the garage and Hope saw it was raining she got her rain boots and told me she needed then for school so we took two pairs of shoes. I finally got a great report from her teachers Thursday I think she is getting into the routine.

Butterfly Kiss

The true "butterfly kiss"We took Hope to a butterfly exhibit at the town square today. She had the best time holding the butterflies, they used watermelon to get them to climb on you. The last picture was of Hope trying to sneak out with her butterflies. She said bye bye to all the butterflies except hers she wanted to keep them.

First Full Day @ School

Indoor playgroundHope before school (above) after school (below) can you tell Hope & Ella Claire decided not to nap.
Hope had her first full day of school on Thursday. She is going to Southlake Christian Academy and loves it. I showed up early to peek in and her class was playing on the indoor playground they all looked so happy so I hurried out before I was spotted. When I went back to pick her up she was so tired but excited to tell me all about what she did at school and her teachers. I got her a gift for her first day of school, she is in the ladybug room so I had them decorate it with them. I told her she will get $ to put in the flower bank for good reports from her teachers. Then we can take the $ and pick out a new toy, of course she asked to buy candy with the $.
