Petland

The Yorkie-poo I didn't get a very good picture but she was precious.Above the Havanese below the PuggleMy little photographer's first picture of something besides the floor. After the gym the other day Hope & I went to the pet shop. We took 3 dogs out to play with the first was a yorkie-poo then a havanese and our fav a puggle. Petland is set up so cute they have little rooms where you can take the dog to play with, Hope loved this idea. When I was holding the puggle Hope got my heavy camera turned it on and said smile mommy. The last picture you see of me and the pup Hope took she might have a gift I usually have a hard time getting a picture in focus. We also had to see the fish, reptiles, bunnies and Hope's new favorite animal craps (crabs). It's too funny she keeps asking Ryan for a craps, please daddy. Everyone in the store was laughing at her I almost got her one but I guess hermit crabs pinch so we decided not to and now she won't drop it.

Gymnastics Weekend

Ivana on the bars, she got 2nd place in AANastia on the beam, doing a layout stepout and then her dismount. The last 3 days have been filled with more gymnastics then anyone can handle. The national congress was in downtown Dallas so of course I went. They had all kinds of training and a fun trade show with lots of new equipment. Hope got 6 new leos they had so many fun new ones and who can pass up a good deal. I am sure my gym girls can't wait for me to try all the new drills and ideas I got on them. Ryan and I went to the party they had after the Visa Championship it was at the 38th floor of the Sheraton what a beautiful view of Dallas. I almost forgot Ryan almost got in a fight with Kurt Thomas, he dropped his beer and it got on Ryan. Too funny Ryan stood up and was like a foot and a half taller so he quickly apologized. I was like do you know who that is, like he really cared.

Beauty Shop

I had a sweet and very talented friend of mine come over to do my Mom's hair. While she did my Mom's hair Hope went in her room and did her own hair. My Mom, Hope and I all went to get a pedicure, Hope picked yellow polish out of more then 200 colors. She told me yellow with pink flower and Mommy needs a flower, too. We got flowers but I was not about to paint my toe nails yellow.

Grandma Judy & Hope Ryann

A cute picture of Hope with her Grandma Judy before church.

Daddy's Convention

Ryan had a convention at Gaylord last weekend (yes I am a little behind) so Hope and I went and stayed with him. Hope loved that our balcony was right above the train table she wanted to watch it all the time. She also found the swimming pool and toy shop so that quickly became her two favorite places to go. My Mom got Hope these bugs that she now sleeps with, I can't believe my daughter loves bugs.

Messy Pink Paint

Finger painting is so last year, Hope prefers hand painting! Poor little girl she got a black eye running into the island in the middle of the kitchen.

Gymnastics

For Hope's last gymnastics class of the summer they had a parents observation day, usually the parents sit behind a window/mirror. This works out great because Hope listen better without me in the gym but I want to get in the gym sometimes so I can take a few pictures. I love the picture of the kids doing the hokey pokey and putting their hips in, too funny I am sure she will appreciate me showing this one to her boyfriend one day.

Ice Age 3

Hope new favorite thing is to go watch movies, she keeps asking for more movies. We took her to watch Ice Age 3 in 3-D when my Mom came into town. I could not believe she made it through the whole movie (1.5 hours), I think it helped that we went to the movie tavern where they serve food. She was too funny, she talked to all the characters on the screen and could not understand why she needed to keep her voice down.

Hoppy & Swimming

Hope getting into the oreo's at the hotel room, what a great breakfast! The farm my Grandma grew up on, still in the Niemeth name, the house is behind the trees. All the family stayed at the same Hotel, well I think we only had 2 choices in the town, but we could not have asked for a better place. All the rooms opened up to a nice indoor meeting area with a pool. Hope's Uncle Wayne found her a baby frog outside and she was in heaven chasing hoppy around. My Mom found her a lifevest so she could swim & jump in all by herself, what a big girl she thinks she is.

McCook, Nebraska

My Grandma came from a very strick catholic background and most the family is catholic so we arranged a Rosary, Mass and then graveside service. We were so blessed because everything worked out perfect. She was an amazing woman not only was she Hope's great-grandmother she had 5 great-great grandkids. She always said I was her 4th daughter because my Mom was the youngest of 3 girls and I grew up minutes away from her house. She will be missed more then she will ever know. I wish I could have gotten more pictures but between chasing Hope and everything else my camera was not the first thing on my mind.

RoadTrip

My Grandmother had very specific plan for us to follow once she passed away. She was in New Mexico with my Mom; and my Grandpa "Pa Jack" passed away 20 years ago but my Grandmother wanted to be buried with him in Nebraska. He had a ranch up their and she grew up on a farm 30 minutes away. She didn't want to go on a plane so we all caravaned from New Mexico through Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas to Nebraska. I took a few pictures at La Posta on of my fav. restaurants to eat at back home. We stopped to let Hope out in Liberal Kansas, it was Dorthy's House from the Wizard of Oz. Hope did amazing thank god for portable DVD players.
